F.A.Q.

Q: How long has Global Ties Miami been working in international exchange?

For over 60 years. Since the early 1950s.

Q: Why did Miami Council for International Visitors change its name to Global Ties Miami?

We embraced the name Global Ties Miami as our national network rolled out its new name, Global Ties U.S. However, our reasons for changing our name go beyond a simple network re-branding. With our new name, Global Ties Miami, we want to emphasize the impact of our work not only on the visitors who come to South Florida, but also on the locals who meet with them and form a bond through business or friendship, that ties them to other parts of the world. Wherever we are, we facilitate connection - ties - among people, across cultures.
